Changes and More Changes

  • Mood: Happy
  • Music: Sara Evans

I'm trying really hard to be productive today, but I'm doing more piddling than anything. I'm supposed to be trying to get all of my novels back into print since I'm fairly sure Publish America isn't going to be closing their doors any time soon.

A lot of shuffling around has taken place at SCC where I work, and I'm losing my office to a Business and Industry guy, and I'll have to share a computer and desk with the day time Administrative Assistant, which is okay since I was being treated special by having my own office in the first place (none of the other evening workers had their own office). The guy who is getting my office is a real character. I walked in last week to see a big colorful poster print of a cartoon-like Grand Prix racer on my office wall. I laugh nearly everytime I see it because it's just there right in your face!

Then today, I arrive to even more stuff crowding my soon-to-be-ex-office, and I notice another big picture leaning against the wall. So nosey little me, goes and takes a peek, and I shriek with laughter again. This time it's a huge print of Clint Eastwood from "The Good the Bad and the Ugly"  Which happens to be the first movie I ever saw...of course I was a wee little baby and cried through the whole thing to my Mom and Dad's great irritation. It was also at a drive-in theatre...I wish those still existed, I bet it was fun to watch a movie from the hood of your car. I imagine the 50's and 60's being a great time to be alive.
